23 & 24 September 2023:

 

Our first event was nothing short of an international spectacle, with participants hailing from various corners of Europe.

People from Belgium, France, Germany, Luxembourg, and, of course, the Netherlands came together to celebrate terrier agility in all its glory.


Saturday was a day dedicated to the spirit of collaboration and teamwork. Participants teamed up, crossing national borders to create powerful alliances. 
As the sun began to set on Saturday, the anticipation reached its peak as we prepared for the Grand Finals. The finals were a spectacular culmination of the day's efforts, featuring a massive field with four different courses: A, B, C, and D. The first dog set off on course A, and the excitement built as each terrier showcased their agility, speed, and skill on the distinct courses.

The Grand Finals were a breathtaking showcase of agility, precision, and the unbreakable bond between the terriers and their handlers. The audience was on the edge of their seats as they witnessed the thrilling performances of these exceptional duos.

2nd place Team: Runs in the Family

3rd place team: Fast 4 Manchesters

 

Sunday was the climax of our event, where individual participants took center stage to showcase their agility and skills. This day was all about individual rounds, featuring a jumping course and an agility course, with the ultimate goal of securing a coveted ticket to the finals.

After the final tickets were distributed, it was time for the coursewalk. This was a moment of anticipation and strategy, as participants meticulously analyzed the course layout, discussing their approach, and mentally preparing for the grand finals. The coursewalk was a crucial part of the day, ensuring that handlers and terriers were well-prepared for the ultimate challenge.

The finals were nothing short of spectacular. The best of the best had earned their place, and the grand finals were a culmination of the weekend's efforts. The competition was intense, and the audience was treated to a thrilling display of terrier agility, speed, and precision.

The atmosphere was electric as the finalists and their terriers navigated the challenging courses, giving it their all. The tension was palpable, and the cheers from the spectators echoed through the venue as each team put on a remarkable performance. The finals were a testament to the extraordinary bond between terriers and their handlers.

With around 85 enthusiastic participants, it was an event to remember. As we work diligently behind the scenes for our second edition, we can't wait to bring you more thrilling moments and unveil the next set of champions.
